Cindy Morgan is an American actress, born in 1954, in Chicago, under the real name of Cynthia Ann Cichorski, of Polish and German origins. Her career began at an early stage in her life and was focused around radio shows and presenting the local weather forecast on television. The actual acting career developed after Cindy Morgan moved to Los Angeles, in 1978, for acting school, and started in several commercials on television.

Two of the most famous films Cindy Morgan acted in are the comedy Caddyshack (1980) and the science fiction film Tron (1982). In the first one, she played the role of Lacey Underall, a young woman with a hipper active and promiscuous sex life, who becomes the love interest of Danny Noonan, played by Michael O’Keefe. In Tron, Cindy Morgan plays a double role – Dr. Lora Baines, a working specialist at ENCOM, and her program Yori. This particular film managed to boost her future dwellings in entertainment, as it was the first computer generated film, and had therefore created a lot of media attention and curiosity. These films have lead to the development of her career and made people view Cindy Morgan as an actress that cannot be type-cased or not even genre-cased. Her later films feature various genres and compartments, as Cindy Morgan also did television series and soaps, such as: Falcon Crest (1981), The Larry Sanders Show (1992), Amazing Stories and Bring ‘Em Back Alive (1982). Meanwhile, throughout her entire career, she continued to produce and host radio shows, and to lend her voice to many animated characters. Cindy Morgan has always had a private life and has, in recent years, retired from acting in show business, resuming her career to producing films (such as Sex, Lies and Videotapes) and to writing a book about how it was for her to act in the first film. She also is concerned with charitable work for victims and families of the US military troops that fight in Iraq and Afghanistan and helps a number of organizations raise funds for those in need.

Cindy Morgan has had a rapid development in the entertainment business, but she was never one to stay in the public eye, managing to keep away from scandals and to make sure that her private life stays that way. She has known great success with her two famous film roles, but has been more drawn to be behind the camera, in order to create an entire production for her viewers.
