Cindy Morgan is the stage name of Cynthia Ann Cichorski, an American actress that starred in Tron and Caddyshack. Morgan was born on September 29, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were emigrants from Poland and Germany and had no studies. Because they were Catholics, Morgan studied in a Catholic school for the first 12 years of her life. After finishing her studies, she went to college. She was the pride of her family as she was the first to enroll in college from the Cichorskis. She chose Northern Illinois University and headed to study communications. During her studies, Morgan worked in a local radio station. When she received a new offer, to also report news, she adopted her stage name. Her inspiration was Morgan le Fay, a character from a story she read in adolescence. When she finished college, Morgan took a full time job in Rockford, Illinois, in a television station. She was the one that presented the latest meteorological news through the day. At the same time, she remained in the radio domain, working at a rock music station.

After some time, Morgan took a job at WSDM-FM but when she had an argument during work, she quit on the air and left her job in the middle of a song. Her next job was at Fiat and thanks to it, Morgan moved in Los Angeles. In 1978 she started doing commercials and taking acting classes. Thanks to this, she landed her first acting gig as partner of Chevy Chase in Caddyshack. After this movie, Morgan took not one, but two roles in Tron. This was the first computer generated film and she played both Lora and Yori in it.

After these two, Cindy Morgan accepted various roles in television films and soap-operas. She appeared in Falcon Crest in two different roles, those of Lori Chapman and Gabrielle Short. She also had two appearances in Matlock and continued with The Larry Sanders Show, Amazing Stories and Bring ‘Em Back Alive. Later, Morgan associated with Larry Estes and they produced 5 films together. Although she was not a part of the 2011 Tron Legacy, she was still present at a press conference in 2011 to promote it with one of her former costars. In present, Morgan lives in Florida and is writing a book about the experiences she had while filming Caddyshack.

Cindy Morgan is an American actress, born in 1954, in Chicago, under the real name of Cynthia Ann Cichorski, of Polish and German origins. Her career began at an early stage in her life and was focused around radio shows and presenting the local weather forecast on television. The actual acting career developed after Cindy Morgan moved to Los Angeles, in 1978, for acting school, and started in several commercials on television.

Two of the most famous films Cindy Morgan acted in are the comedy Caddyshack (1980) and the science fiction film Tron (1982). In the first one, she played the role of Lacey Underall, a young woman with a hipper active and promiscuous sex life, who becomes the love interest of Danny Noonan, played by Michael O’Keefe. In Tron, Cindy Morgan plays a double role – Dr. Lora Baines, a working specialist at ENCOM, and her program Yori. This particular film managed to boost her future dwellings in entertainment, as it was the first computer generated film, and had therefore created a lot of media attention and curiosity. These films have lead to the development of her career and made people view Cindy Morgan as an actress that cannot be type-cased or not even genre-cased. Her later films feature various genres and compartments, as Cindy Morgan also did television series and soaps, such as: Falcon Crest (1981), The Larry Sanders Show (1992), Amazing Stories and Bring ‘Em Back Alive (1982). Meanwhile, throughout her entire career, she continued to produce and host radio shows, and to lend her voice to many animated characters. Cindy Morgan has always had a private life and has, in recent years, retired from acting in show business, resuming her career to producing films (such as Sex, Lies and Videotapes) and to writing a book about how it was for her to act in the first film. She also is concerned with charitable work for victims and families of the US military troops that fight in Iraq and Afghanistan and helps a number of organizations raise funds for those in need.

Cindy Morgan has had a rapid development in the entertainment business, but she was never one to stay in the public eye, managing to keep away from scandals and to make sure that her private life stays that way. She has known great success with her two famous film roles, but has been more drawn to be behind the camera, in order to create an entire production for her viewers.
